A BRIDGWATER woman has been banned from leaving her house from 6pm to midnight over most of the summer after admitting causing criminal damage.
A 16-week curfew was slapped on Kelly Ann Goss, 43, of Wyndham Road, for destroying car tyres valued at £425 in the town on July 2.
Goss, who initially denied the offence, was also ordered to pay £425 compensation to her victim, a £95 victim surcharge and £775 costs, during a sentencing hearing at Taunton Magistrates’ Court this week.
A restraining order lasting until November 3 this year barring her from contacting the victim was also imposed on Goss.
A count of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour was dismissed by the magistrates.
ANGELA Heidi Kiddle, 35, of Willey Road, Stoke St Gregory, was found guilty of driving off after her car was involved in a collision that caused damage to another vehicle.
Kiddle had denied the offence in Bridgwater on April 22 last year.
She was fined £120, along with a £34 victim surcharge and £500 costs, and was given five penalty points on her driving licence.
She was also found guilty of failing to report an accident, but received no separate penalty for the offence.
