Elon Musk; Bridgwater before Mars?

Written by on June 11, 2020

Rumors are rife that entrepreneur Elon Musk is looking at a site in Bridgwater for his next factory. The Gravity Industrial park, sitting in 650 acres north east of Bridgwater could be a potential site for the tech giant to set up his first UK camp. Boffins suggest that in order to meet the need for electric cars in the future, we’re going to need 8 “Gigafactories” in Britain.

A Gigafactory, a term coined by Musk’s firm Tesla takes the concept of traditional factories and drags them into the 21st Century. The vast buildings are covered in solar panels and energy-saving technology leads the way inside.

According to records on OpenSky-Network.org, the billionaires private Gulfstream jet landed at London Luton Airport on the 3rd June where it remained for several hours before flying back to San Francisco.
