County Lines Crackdown

Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens is urging people to be vigilant towards “county Lines” during the pandemic. County lines’ is a term used to describe gangs and organised criminal networks involved in exporting illegal drugs out of bigger cities into one or more smaller towns in the UK In a post on twitter she said:

 “We must recognise the signs of drug activity to stop this awful crime destroying more lives.”
