Sedgemoor District Council are asking anyone who is considering a trip to the beach or a beauty spot to be considerate to the local community. There are no safety staff, beach wardens or lifeguards on duty and social distancing measures continue to apply.
The majority of visitor facilities remain closed but some toilets are open to provide hand washing facilities.
Berrow Beach access road remains locked to vehicles but can be access via footpaths.
The travel restrictions do not include visiting second homes, caravans or staying overnight in campervans – whereas travel is allowed, you must return to your home within the same day.
